Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300m Overview

Hello everyone and welcome back to Tick n' Sip. Today I would like to discuss another legendary watch that is most definitely on my list of watches to own one day. Without further or do, I present to you the Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300m.

The Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300m is an icon in and of itself. Released in 1993 and popularized by celebrities such as the likes of Daniel Craig as the current iteration of James Bond to name one, and loved many watch enthusiasts everywhere, the Omega SMP Diver 300m has become an important part of horology. The Omega Seamaster can hold its own in quality in comparison to watches that retail for a much greater price (i.e the Rolex Submariner Date.) The Omega Diver 300m features a 42mm case and a 20mm bracelet that feature beautiful finishing with a mixture of brushed and polished finishes that give the watch its unique and elegant appearance. Its 120-click scalloped ceramic bezel is built to last from years of wear and tear as opposed to some diver watches that are equipped with aluminum bezels. Its beautiful ceramic dial features an elegant wave pattern reminiscent of the ocean and is coated with a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Love it or hate it, a unique feature to the Omega SMP Diver 300m is the helium escape valve that allows a diver to perform saturation diving to 300 meters without having to worry about a helium build-up that could cause the crystal to pop off of the watch. The Omega Seamaster Professional 300m also features a mixture of bright blue and green luminescence on the hands, hour markers, and lume pip that are all highly legible in the dark.

The Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300m comes equipped with a see-through case back that allows you to see its durable self-winding Co-Axial Caliber Omega 8800 escapement that is both COSC and METAS chronometer certified. The Co-Axial escapement used in the SMP Diver 300m is both shock-resistant and anti-magnetic to 15,000 gauss. The Omega Seamaster Professional 300m also features a push and slide adjustable clasp that allows you to have the perfect fit on the go without the use of tools.

The Omega Seamaster is a lot of watch for the money. Retailing at $5,200, it is most certainly a great alternative to other divers from brands such as Rolex in a higher price range. The Omega brand is well known and respected throughout the horology world. If you are looking for a respectable, iconic timepiece that will last you a lifetime, look no further. The Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300m might just be the perfect fit for you.

As always, thank you for reading and for your considered support!
